Blair Farwell is President of Resource Brokerage, LLC located in Schaumburg, Illinois. He is a graduate of Hope College (Holland, Michigan) with a B.A. in Business Administration and Communications. Blair worked in the health insurance industry gaining broad experience encompassing customer service, marketing and underwriting.
Blair joined Resource Brokerage in 1999 and purchased the company in 2012. In December 2021, Blair led Resource Brokerage, LLC into a partnership with the Integrity Marketing Group while retaining his title of President of Resource Brokerage, LLC and simultaneously becoming a Managing Partner of the Integrity Marketing Group.
Blair’s agency building consulting services are utilized by more than 1,300 agents nationwide. He regularly provides consulting to insurance carriers’ home offices on product creation, systems development, and distribution through independent brokers. He provides services to licensed insurance agents on the nuances of the carrier contracts, product positioning in the marketplace and legislative updates. Blair also supports agents in diversifying and growing their agencies with impactful training and real world practices to hone their skill sets.
Blair is an approved educator by the Illinois Department of Insurance and develops and presents continuing education curriculum to several hundred licensed agents each year throughout the state of Illinois. He is an accomplished industry writer having written many articles in widely read nationally circulated insurance-related publications including A.M. Best, Health Insurance Underwriters and Broker World magazines.
Outside of work, you will find Blair volunteering at FMSC, snow skiing, traveling, watching his three daughters compete in sporting events and spending time with his wife of more than 20 years!
