The RB team provides premier marketing, administrative and customer service support on behalf of numerous insurance companies to hundreds of licensed independent insurance agents throughout the country.

Quoting Specialist

The candidate will be responsible for taking orders, creating quotes, detailing the application process for independent agents and providing other presale support. Insurance lines marketed include: Life, Annuity, Disability and Long term Care. Much of the work is focused on the use of technology to produce results- thus the appropriate candidate should be very familiar with Microsoft Office, database management, and have the ability to autonomously find information on carrier websites. The candidate will discuss prospect details with agents to shop for the most competitive outlet. Large volumes of HIPPA protected information require professionalism and confidentiality. Candidate will comb through underwriting files for pertinent information relating to a prospects health and other underwriting concerns.

Fast paced environment requires that requests are responded to within four business hours. The ideal candidate will proactively follow-up on returned quotes to help close sales and contact agents for additional sales opportunities. The position requires pleasant personality with excellent verbal and written communication skills which are necessary while working with the brokerage community, carrier staff, internal agency marketing and co-workers. Ongoing professional development required to stay abreast of industry and product changes.

New Business Case Management

The candidate will be responsible for communicating professionally, concisely and effectively with brokers/agents as well as multiple insurance carriers in order to expedite new group health insurance business during the application process. Responds to phone calls and emails continuously throughout the day and focuses on providing excellent customer service while getting group applications approved as quickly as possible, maintaining professionalism at all times.
